I would like to thank the PAC for organizing such an amazing Spooktakular event. It was wonderful to see so many of our school community out celebrating together. The kids had a wonderful time and I think the same can be said for the adults as well. It is fundraisers like this that help support the great programs we offer students to make our school such a great place to learn. Thanks again to all the parents and students that came out to volunteer to create such a fun and exciting event.

Vancouver Giants Flash Mob
Please click on the link below to watch the video release of this year's Vancouver Giants Flash Mob. This was an amazing day for all our intermediate students. They worked very hard to learn the flash mob dance performed at the event. You'll see many familiar faces. Besides watching the Vancouver Giants game they also listened to speakers and saw music performances about anti-bullying. This was a great lead up event to today's Pink Shirt Day.
Used Book Sale:
On January 28th we had our Used Book Sale. We raised an amazing $730 for our school in Tekera, Uganda. The kids were so proud and excited that we were able to raise so much for kids in need. Your donations and support are much appreciated.

Crazy Hair Day at Pebble Hill Traditional
Today was a great start to our school year. Thank you to our PAC for their lovely welcome table out front today. It was wonderful to be able to meet so many parents. After much deliberation we will be able to move into our new classes tomorrow. Tomorrow morning all students will return to the same classroom they were in today. Please arrange a pick up location with your child(ren) as they may exit out a different door after school. All students in grade one will exit out the same door they came in through in the morning. Students in grades two and three will exit out the Pod C doors closest to the intermediate playground. All Kindergarten students will continue to follow the gradual entry routine. Students are welcome to bring their school supplies tomorrow.
I am delighted to confirm that school will be starting on Monday, September 22nd. Please click here for important information regarding Pebble Hill Traditional's School Start Up. Information regarding Kindergarten gradual entry can be found here.

Dear Parents and Guardians,
The new school year is nearly upon us, and I am excited to be joining the Pebble Hill Traditional community as your new Principal. While you were likely expecting Tom McGrory to remain as your Principal for this coming year, Mr. McGrory has been appointed as Principal of Heath Traditional Elementary in North Delta. I look forward to stepping into the role of Principal at Pebble Hill and working with our teachers and staff to support exceptional learning for your children. Please allow me to introduce myself via this letter, and I hope to meet you all in person at our school throughout the year.
My name is Mrs. Claire Clancy and I have been a member of the Delta School District for 16 years. Prior to becoming Principal at Pebble Hill Traditional, I was Vice-Principal at Sunshine Hills Elementary and, prior to that, I was Vice-Principal at Holly Elementary. For the past ten years, I have also enjoyed working in the role of Learning Support Teacher at various elementary schools. In addition to this work, I have taught Primary and Intermediate classes in both Delta and the West Vancouver school districts.
We are entering this coming school year with uncertainty in the system due to the ongoing labour dispute between the teachers’ union and provincial government. I will do my best to support yourselves, your children and our staff to ensure a smooth start to our school year. Any information about potential impacts to school start-up as a result of the strike will be posted on the Delta School District website (web.deltasd.bc.ca) and on our school website (ph.deltasd.bc.ca).
I am honoured to now be a member of the Pebble Hill Traditional educational community. I anticipate an excellent year full of strong student learning, exceptional teaching and engaged parental involvement.
