Dear Kindergarten Parents:
Welcome to Pebble Hill Traditional School! We are looking forward to having your child at our school this year and hope that he/she will have an enjoyable first year at Pebble Hill Traditional School.
Please note: this is an UPDATED Gradual Entry Schedule for your child entering Kindergarten this year. Due to schools being in Stage 2, we have adjusted the Gradual Entry schedule accordingly. We have divided students according to their last names. Please bring your child to the school at the appropriate time. You can expect one more email on Wednesday, September 9th letting you know the exact location of where to bring your child to connect with his/her learning group.
As always, for the first two weeks of school, the Kindergarten children will be involved in a “gradual entry” to help them make as easy a transition as possible from home to school. This means that their hours of attendance will be shorter than the regular day and will slowly increase. This will allow them to become familiar with the new adults, children, and the routines they need to learn.
Please note that the Zoom Family Interviews noted in the schedule will be available for sign up starting Thursday, Sept 10th through Parent Connect. Your child’s teacher will send you a Zoom invitation via email once you have signed up online for your time slot.

All children should bring a nutritious snack such as fruits, vegetables, crackers and cheese for each session that indicates a snack is needed. Full size knapsacks with a lunch kit are ideal for snacks and taking work home. Beginning Thursday, September 17, the children will be required to bring their own lunches and cutlery to school. Please ensure that your child has a healthy lunch that he/she can unpack and eat independently.
