Monday, February 6  

 

Monday: Non-Catchment & Non-District Registration Applications can be accepted starting on this day – online only. If you know of families who don’t live in our catchment but are interested in attending PHT, they can now register on the district website.

 

Monday: Students, please come to school in wet weather outerwear. Several rainy days are expected this week.

 

Tuesday, February 7  

 

Tuesday: 7:45am Choir Practice. Students, please meet Mrs. Saip in the gym.

 

Tuesday: 3:00pm Boys Grade 6/7 Basketball players for today’s game (at CD) to meet in the gym. Please put on your jerseys and wait for coaches & volunteer drivers. Please demonstrate excellent sportsmanship and enjoy the game!

 

Wednesday, February 8  

 

Wednesday: Grade 6 students on Cypress Mountain excursion. Parents/caregivers: please review all important information that was sent home earlier. (Snowboarders: Please remember your wrist guards!) Excellent manners and behaviour is required, including on the bus.

 

Wednesday: 7pm PAC Meeting in Library

 

 

Thursday, February 9

 

 

 

Thursday: 3:00pm Girls Grade 6/7 Basketball players for today’s game (at BG) to meet in the gym. Please put on your jerseys and wait for coaches & volunteer drivers. Please demonstrate excellent sportsmanship and enjoy the game!

Friday: Hot Lunch Day! Please check Munch-a-Lunch online to review placed orders, if needed. Thank-you, parent volunteers 🙂

Gr. 6/7 Basketball 2023!   

 

Reminder: Grade 6/7 Basketball Season begins: Tuesday, January 31 through February.

Grade 6/7 Boys play Tuesdays after school 3:15pm (or once the away team arrives) – due to large number of players – the group is divided into alternating blue and green teams for games. Please see separate schedule (previously emailed and also distributed to students)

Grade 6/7 Girls play Thursdays after school 3:15pm (or once the away teams arrives)

2023 BASKETBALL SCHEDULE

Student Players: Please remember to thank your coaches after each practice & game for volunteering their time to your teams. Please remember to also thank volunteer drivers.

Coaches will determine practice times to communicate with Grade 6/7 players & teachers (most practices will occur during lunch periods). Students are responsible for communicating practice times/reminders to parents/caregivers – students to use their planners or refer to coach memos, if needed.

 

 

 

 

Delta School District International Programs needs more homestay families for international students coming to Delta School District for September 2023. They will arrive from all over the world and have a strong desire to be in Delta. Hosting a student comes with a reimbursement of $1100 per month for expenses. Multiple students from different nationalities can be hosted in one home.
