Tuesday, January 31  

 

 

Tuesday: 7:45am Choir Practice. Students, please meet Mrs. Saip in the gym.

 

Tuesday: 3:00pm Boys Grade 6/7 Basketball players for today’s game (at SP) to meet in the gym. Please put on your jerseys and wait for coaches & volunteer drivers. Please demonstrate excellent sportsmanship and enjoy the game!

 

Wednesday, February 1  

 

Wednesday: Grade 6 students on Cypress Mountain excursion. Parents/caregivers: please review all important information that was sent home earlier. (Snowboarders: Please remember your wrist guards!)

Thursday: Groundhog Day! Groundhog Day in Canada

 

Thursday: 3:00pm Girls Grade 6/7 Basketball players for today’s home game to meet in the gym. Please put on your jerseys and wait for coaches. Please demonstrate excellent sportsmanship and enjoy the game!

Friday: Grade 7 Leadership Team “Pop-up” Concession fundraiser during lunch period to support this year’s Grade 7 events:  For sale – $2 Candy Bags and $1 Rice Krispie squares. Two Treat Jars for a fun “Guess the contents of the jar!” – one on each table (primary & intermediate) for $1/guess.

The popular West Coast Seeds fundraiser begins Monday, January 30 through February 10 with 40% of sales going to the PAC.

Reminder: Grade 6/7 Basketball Season begins: Tuesday, January 31 through February. There is one game per week for each team:

Grade 6/7 Boys play Tuesdays after school 3:15pm (or once the away team arrives)

Grade 6/7 Girls play Thursdays after school 3:15pm (or once the away teams arrives)

 

2023 BASKETBALL SCHEDULE

Student Players: Please remember to thank your coaches after each practice & game for volunteering their time to your teams. Please remember to also thank volunteer drivers.

Coaches will determine practice times to communicate with Grade 6/7 players & teachers (most practices will occur during lunch periods)

 

 

 

Delta School District International Programs needs more homestay families for international students coming to Delta School District for September 2023. They will arrive from all over the world and have a strong desire to be in Delta. Hosting a student comes with a reimbursement of $1100 per month for expenses. Multiple students from different nationalities can be hosted in one home.
