Monday: Professional Learning Day – Schools are closed to students. Staff engage in professional sessions.

 

Monday: Last chance to order Purdy’s Chocolates for the holidays to support Pebble Hill! The Winter Purdy’s Chocolates Fundraiser runs until 10pm. Pickup is on Dec.13 at the school. 

 

Tuesday, November 29  

 

Tuesday: 7:45am Choir Practice. Students meet Mrs. Saip in the school gym.

 

Tuesday: 12:35pm Grade 6/7 Volleyball practice in the gym.

 

Wednesday, November 30  

 

Wednesday: Choir practice in the gym at 12:35pm.

 

Wednesday: 3:20pm Volleyball game at Cliff Drive El. (not South Park – please note this change to the game location) for Grade 6 team. Volunteer drivers, please contact Ms.Phillips at aphillips@deltaschools.ca to confirm availability. Thank-you

 

Thursday, December 1  

Thursday:  DeltaAssist Food Drive begins today until Thurs. December 8! Please send only non-perishable food items that are not close to expiration. Please help children check their donation items – expired food cannot be accepted/distributed. Please send donations to your children’s classrooms or leave at the outside office drop-off box labelled “Food Drive”.The Grade 7 Leadership Team will collect, sort and load the food into boxes for pick-up. Thursday: 3:20pm Volleyball Game for the Grade 7 Team with South Park El. (Home game in Pebble Hill gym)

 

Friday, December 2  

 

Friday: Hot Lunch with Dairy Queen for those students who placed orders. Thank-you parent volunteers!

Reminder! From BC Centre for Disease Control website: “People with symptoms of COVID-19 should take measures to prevent spreading the illness to others by staying home when sick.”  Please follow guidance provided by the BC Centre for Disease Control: “Consider how you manage other illnesses that you do not get tested for like cold and flu: Stay home if you are feeling unwell and resume regular activities when you feel you are able to manage them. If you have a fever you should stay home until it is gone without medication.” (BCCDC update as of Nov.17, 22)

PH’s PAC invites you to Family Movie Night! Gym doors open at 5:15pm and the movie starts at 6pm. Enjoy an indoor pizza picnic with your kids! Pre-order pizza with cash payment due the night of the movie. Concession items also available – cash only. Thanks to parent volunteers for organizing/hosting this family event! Please remember that supervision is not provided. Parents must be with their children during entire evening. Thanks! 🙂
